Based on O. M. Ungers’ House Without Qualities, this project applies overlay, rotation, and offset to the original orthogonal system to construct a multi-family house organized around a shared central library. Two families inhabit parallel yet interwoven circulations, moving through thickened walls, stairs, and bookshelves that alternately open and close toward the library. The resulting interior produces a dense, sectional experience that reads as inhabiting the inside of a bookshelf, shifting between compression and spatial release.
